Your tasks
- You develop and maintain data architecture to support the data value chain, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to define data architecture requirements
- You collaborate with stakeholders to understand business strategy and designs end-to-end solutions for data sourcing, processing/integration, provisioning, and delivery
- You contribute to the Enterprise Data Architecture team and establish it as a trusted partner to the business and IT which is seen as an authority for data and analytics technologies
- You ensure that mission critical data platforms are highly scalable, secure and stable. You supports the migration of data from legacy to new data platforms
- You define architecture guidelines/standards and ensures data security and compliance with data protection regulations
- You create and communicate high-level data models and educates cross-functional teams on implementing their own data models
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science (or equivalent) and several years of experience in data architecture roles
- You have experience in developing and architecting data platforms that are resilient, scalable, and flexible
- You bring a strong understanding of modern data architectures and a deep understanding of the overall data in an organization and constantly develop your skills
- You have a broad knowledge in areas such as master data management, cloud, visualization solutions and AI/ML framework and experience in building cloud-based analytical data platforms (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Warehouses)
- You have experience with at least one data catalog tool (e. g. Informatica or Collibra) and in data modeling with at least one language (e.g. UML or ER diagrams). SQL doesn't scare you either
- You have strong communication skills in German and English to effectively convey solutions and ideas to stakeholders combined with the ability to handle high-level business viewpoints as well as detailed technical details. You elicit requirements from business representatives with the same confidence as you discuss specifications with developers
- You have experience in large transformation projects, preferably in the SAP environment, and experience with extensive data migration are a plus
